The Cessna 210 made history in the world of private aviation and is well known and loved by many a pilot who has flown them and also very easily recognized by the swan like gear retraction. The very unique retractable landing gear not only made them much more distinguishable than the Cessna 182 but significantly faster also.
The 210 has never before been available as an RC model kit and we suspect it’s because there never was any existing retracts that could do the job. Aviatix models got to work and modelled a very realistic and unique landing gear system that not only makes our Cessna 210 possible, but very realistic with its perfect scale retractable landing gear and also reliable.
Just like the full size Cessna 210, our model handles exceptional as many a student pilot has also experienced flying Cessna 172 & Cessna 182’s and would expect from a high wing plane. The C210 is the perfect plane for any pilot regardless of experience and is very relaxing and fun to fly. The perfect and awesome scale gear will definitely attract a lot of attention at the local field and you would love flying it just to have a chance to look at that gear regardless if you own a turbine jet or not!
The scale detail is impeccable and will satisfy many a scale judge and enable those pilots with low hours who want to enter scale competitions to do so and be competitive. Our team got it down to the last rivet and panel line in a way you have to see for yourself to believe. 
The Airframe is made using quality composites and carbon fibre and we integrate and build a custom wiring harness that gets installed in the factory. This not only saves weight but also is more reliable to ensure you have a plane that will last for many years and thousands of flights.
When you add the Servo package into your order, the Aileron and Flap servos are also professionally installed in the factory.
The control surfaces are also engineered to be perfectly scale and the flaps has a concealed control rod mechanism providing perfect scale look.
Inside the main cabin is a floor panel hatch that gives access to the manger unit and retract controller that will also be pre installed with the Gear package. The retract controller manages the gear units and also the gear door operation, so you only need one gear channel. It also center and switch the nosegear steering servo off as soon as you retract the wheels.
The Power package option will add the Scorpion electric motor and ESC plus the dummy engine factory installed. The battery bay is designed to accommodate 2 x 6S 5500mAh Lipo batteries to give you ample flying time of up to 15 minutes. The included wiring system is a parallel connection and the plane can also be flown on 1 battery only, however will need added ballast in the nose to have the correct CG.
The Electric version is powered by a 120 size electric Scorpion Brushless motor and powerful 120A ESC that results in ample power and superior reliability. Currently we do not have a gas version because the twin cylinder 20cc engines that fit in the cowl, all have the carburettor neatly placed where the nose gear retracts.
The other scale features on the Cessna also received attention from our R&D team and there’s doors that open and a perfect scale door hinges and unique mechanism to even make the door handle perfect scale in looks and functionality.
Transporting the Cessna 210 is also easy, because both wings and stabs remove with ease, making transportation in any Hatchback/Compact car or midsize vehicle easy. Assembly at the field will take less than 3 minutes as you only need to slide the stabilisers and wings onto the carbon tubes and fasten 4 screws to do the field assembly.
When you select all the completion options of Gear, Servo and Power package, You will receive an airplane that is Ready to fly and all you need to do is install your receiver and motor Battery and do your TX setup, which should take no longer than 90 minutes.
